The Monroe County Prosecuting Attorney appears and represents the state in all investigations for felony before the various Justice Court Judges in the county. She also appears appears before the Justice Court Judges to prosecute all cases against persons charged with misdemeanor offenses. The Monroe County Prosecuting Attorney also represents the state in criminal cases appealed from the justice court to the circuit court. She also serves as the Monroe County Youth Court Prosecutor.
